Lease - Residential
● This Residential Lease is a written agreement between a Landlord and a Tenant establishing the rights and responsibilities of each party. The Landlord is the owner of real estate (also known as "premises") who rents that property to a Tenant for the Tenant's use. A "residential" lease applies to real estate used as a place for where a Tenant lives.
This Residential Lease includes:
- An identification of the premises.
- Statement of Term (i.e., the duration of the lease).
- Monthly rental amount.
- Security deposit provisions.
Amendment to Lease
● This Amendment to Lease is a document that allows the Landlord and Tenant to modify the terms of the Residential Lease. The Amendment can be drafted to change terms like the move-in date, the security deposit amount, and provisions regarding pets.
Renter’s Inspection Worksheet
● The Renter's Inspection Worksheet may be used by either a Landlord or a Tenant to determine the condition of rental premises both before and after the Tenant's occupancy of the premises.
